We knew from other reviews that the kitchenette had no stove, so that wasn’t a surprise. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless with tasteful decor. Each had a handy corner with a kettle, water, coffee and tea, plus a small plate of cookies and candies. We booked the family studio, with two en-suite rooms upstairs and a separate studio downstairs. The studio had a comfortable bed, basic kitchenette, cosy living area and private patio.

Such a peaceful, beautiful spot. We had a lovely stay, and the rooms were clean and really comfortable. I’d absolutely recommend it.

Our ensuite room was lovely, in a private house with access to a fridge, microwave and coffee-making counter. We couldn’t use the rest of the house, which was fine. We only spoke with the owner by phone, and got into the room using a key lock. The location is beautiful, close to the water and about 30 minutes from the albatross centre. There are some lovely nature drives nearby, though not many restaurants or stores.

The waterfront balcony had a lovely view, and the Super king bed was comfortable. The bedroom had nice decor and useful amenities, and the water pressure was excellent. It was close to where I wanted to go. The Duck Caffe down the road opens early and does the best breakfast. I was very happy with my first Airbnb experience.

We brought our little dog, and the property was fenced in. Our unit also had its own private mini gym, spa and sauna. Such a fantastic place to stay.
