Graham was friendly when we checked in and gave us milk and a guide to the area, including ideas for treks. The rooms were clean, and it’s an easy five minute stroll to the town centre. My only wish was that the shower weren’t fixed in place, which would have helped especially with the kids. A great base if you’re staying in Franz Josef, highly recommended.

You can walk to the whole village from 58 on Cron, and park right outside your door. It’s a quiet, very comfortable motel with everything well appointed. They also offer a healthy breakfast for $15, delivered to your unit the night before.

They’d warmed up my room before I arrived on a rainy day, and even offered an umbrella to borrow. I appreciated the milk in a glass bottle and the excellent, professional service. The place was lovely and quiet, and I really liked the atmosphere. See you soon.

Our bus didn’t show up, so Ace got on the phone and helped us sort it out. They also asked at check-in whether we wanted milk. Great service, and a big thank you to Ace for being so kind and helpful.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly, and the accommodation was beautiful. The rooms were a great size and had everything we could ask for. They’re arranged so you don’t hear other people. I’d highly recommend staying here.
