A great spot for the beach, just a short walk away, and it was easy to come and go. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One issue others have mentioned too: the shower kept swinging between hot and cold. My windows were open when I checked in, and screens would help keep the bugs out.

The room felt overpriced for what we got. The curtains were torn enough to see outside, there was mould in the fridge, no Sky TV, and the shower temperature kept changing. On the nicer side, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, the towels soft and absorbent, and the sturdy coffee mugs came with milk in a glass bottle. Those were lovely touches.

The bed was the one good thing about the room. For anyone away for work, not having a microwave is a real problem when you need to heat a meal. The shower temperature kept shifting, there was no Sky, and the price was high for the quality of the stay.

We could cross the road in our wetsuits, go surfing, then come back to a piping hot shower. Katy and her sister made us feel so welcome, and even gave us a room with a garden for our bikes and surfboards, plus use of their hose to wash the bikes. The room was spacious, warm, and clean. Perfect!

It was comfortable and close to the beach, with parking right outside and a small kitchenette. A few things let it down: the bathroom fan didn't work, and the shower temperature kept changing so I had to keep adjusting the tap. The bedside lamp plug and the switch for the light above the bed were both behind the headboard, which was awkward.
