We really enjoyed our two nights here. The staff were lovely, the campground kitchen was clean, and the coffee at Mrs Woolley’s cafe was delicious. There weren’t many toilets or showers, which was the one downside, but we managed.

After four weeks traveling around NZ, this was my favorite campground of the trip. It was spotless and well looked after, and I didn’t find myself missing anything, apart from maybe a fridge. The general store is worth stopping by too. The snacks are great and the things for sale are fun and quirky.
If it rains while you’re at site 11, be careful: there’s no dry way to enter the site, so we had to come in from site 12. The campground could be great, but it’s missing a few small things. There was no soap in the toilets, and hooks or shelves in the showers and toilets would be useful.
A very good campsite in Glenorchy, with nice, clean showers and a tidy kitchen. The mountains around it make for great views.
We enjoyed our two nights here. It’s a fairly small campground, so the facilities are close to every site, and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. There was laundry and a line for drying clothes. The kitchen has plenty of space, though cooking gear can get scattered around and leave it a bit disorganized. They have a fridge but no freezer, and there wasn’t a hair dryer.
