Lisa was friendly and helpful from booking right through to checkout. I stayed here with my bf and dad after we walked the Abel Tasman. The motel is a little old and tired, but it’s very clean and well looked after. We had comfortable, warm beds, a hot shower with good pressure, and a kitchen stocked with everything we could need, including fresh milk. The dining and living areas were comfortable too. Thanks, Lisa, for a pleasant stay!

The wifi was so poor I couldn’t even get Netflix working, let alone use a computer or cellphone. On the 7th day it became clear we were being treated as lesser customers, which was honestly offensive. They didn’t service our room once during the stay, and I had to beg for sheets. I’d avoid this place if you need to stay longer than one night. It got worse afterward: some random, weird old lady who wasn’t even motel staff started harassing me on Facebook, accusing me of leaving the place in a supposed “state.” Typical Nelson Tasman region bullying tactics, and honestly kind of scary. I would’ve given the place 5 stars despite there being no bath, which is usually a requirement for my 5 star rating.
