Zatori Retreat

We’ve stayed at Zatori several times and keep coming back. Tracy is such a kind host and always does that bit extra. This time we needed somewhere for the weekend at the last minute, and she had a place available. The estuary views and peaceful feel make it so relaxing. It’d work beautifully for a wedding, a girls’ weekend, or a romantic getaway. Five stars, and we can’t recommend it enough!

The outdoor area was lovely, and the rooms were clean and spacious. We booked late in the evening for that same night, and the host was wonderful about fitting us in. We’d definitely stay again.

After a month of travelling, this was the first place where we could really unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in comfort. The location is spectacular, the setup is comfortable, and the host is wonderful. Tracey has made a great place that suits couples as well as larger groups, and she gave us some useful tips about the area. A real gem!

We went in the middle of winter and were glad we did. The fire was going strong, the heaters kept the whole house warm, and there was plenty of room even on rainy days. Tracey was helpful and enthusiastic about our birthday weekend, and we felt welcome and relaxed throughout. Her instructions were clear, and she was easy to reach when we had questions. We brought the whole family together for a long weekend birthday celebration, and the lodge was just right for it. The setting is gorgeous, on a gentle hill above the sea, with views of the mountain ranges and the spit. Collingwood is still within walking distance when you need supplies or want to visit the excellent local cafe. The lodge is very well kept and practical, with nice extras like the spa and bath robes. The lounge had enough space for both party nights and sit-down dinners, so it was easy to use in different ways. Split across our group, the price was very reasonable. We’ll be back, and highly recommend Zatori!
