The location worked well for our morning kayak tour, and having a car made it easy to get to nearby Hot Water Beach. I was glad to find a shovel on top of the refrigerator, since lots of guests go there. I stayed two nights at the start of my New Zealand trip, and the place was much better than I expected. Finding it through the alleys after dark was a bit tricky, though, and there isn't a big supermarket nearby, so I had to drive about 30 minutes to another area. Apart from that, it was a comfortable stay.
