Stadium Motel

Quiet at night, with heat pumps, comfortable beds and a clean room. We also enjoyed the spa bath and the lovely view across the road to the park. It’s close to Pak n Save, and the manager was friendly and helpful. Really loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

The bed was comfortable, but the room was very basic and could use an update. I booked at the last minute without checking reviews first. The carpet was frayed by the doorway, there was no plug for the kitchen sink, and the bathroom light didn’t work. The vanity cupboard needs replacing.

We were worried after reading some reviews, since we’d booked before looking them up, but the front desk lady was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and tidy, and the spa bath was amazing. We had everything we needed, and even got to watch the Rugby before checkout 😁. We’ll definitely go back.

The host was lovely, the bedding was nice and the price was reasonable, but I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it. We were put in the disabled room, though I can’t see how a wheelchair user could manage: there was little room to move, no ramp at the doors, and the microwave and glasses were out of reach. The room was dusty and had cobwebs. The fridge made noise all night, the sink was blocked and bubbling water came out of the overflow, which smelled terrible. There was no spare toilet roll, so I had to ask reception for one in the morning. The car park was full and we had to leave the car on the road.
