The room I booked was good, had everything I needed, and was a good price for one night. The rooms are spacious and clean, but you can hear footsteps from other guests, especially on the ground floor. There’s no reception on site, so you have to collect the keys somewhere else. That wasn’t much of an issue, but if guests leave the main door open, anyone could potentially get into the building. The entrance door also needs fixing. It opens with a hotel room card key, but tape had been put around it, which could compromise guest safety and should be addressed soon.

The place was clean, tidy, and comfy, and good all around. Soundproofing could be better, and parking is a bit tight. The only real downside was having to check in somewhere else from where the hotel is.

For a budget option, it was perfectly clean and well equipped, and I’d certainly stay again. I had to check in at another motel because UniMotel doesn’t have a reception.

I was super disappointed. The walls were paper thin, and there was a melted iron mark on the bedspread near the pillow. The bed seemed like it would have been comfortable, but the blinds didn’t block the streetlight, so I tried the two seater couch and couldn’t sleep there either. There were no hooks in the bathroom for towels, and the shower walls had mould. Unless it’s had renovations in the last 2 or 3 years, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Room service was excellent, the units were kept clean, and the bathrooms were good. We liked having a separate toilet, and the toiletries were high quality and replaced daily. There are different types of units, with the tidy, larger suites better for longer stays. Beds are comfortable, and lighting varies by unit type. Good value and recommended.
