The unit was spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfy, which mattered most to us since we weren’t there much. It’s in a great position and so convenient. The decor looked a bit tired, but honestly we didn’t care. The lady at reception was lovely, friendly, and helpful too. Recommend!

The host was lovely, and the beds were comfortable. The 2-bedroom unit was very spacious and thermally heated, which came in handy during the nasty summer storm we stayed through, when the temperature fell to 8 degrees centigrade. They do say it was due for an upgrade in 2022, which explains why it looks a little tired. It’s an excellent family place, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The unit has a full kitchen and good amenities, and the service was really friendly. The location is excellent too. The room itself felt worn and very dated, more 70s than retro chic. A renovation could take this place to the next level.

It’s a short walk, about 2 minutes, to the main street, and the place was clean with everything we needed. The owner noticed my limp and moved us to a downstairs room, which was thoughtful. It could use an upgrade, but I’d still be happy to stay again.

We’ve come back about eight times over the past 18 years and will keep doing so. It’s a good value, warm and cosy, clean and tidy, with the centre only a 2-minute walk away. The staff are great too. The motel is a simple 1970s place and probably hasn’t had a makeover in over 40 years, but that hasn’t stopped us returning.
