Dale was such a cheerful, welcoming host and had thought of everything. He even had extra towels for the thermal pools, just a two-minute walk away, and fresh milk in the fridge for tea. The room was spacious, inviting and super comfortable. We had a fantastic stay and would love to come back!

I never stay anywhere else. Glenlaven is set back among the trees off the “main road”, which is quiet anyway. It’s peaceful, clean and has everything you need. The location is perfect, and Dale is always helpful and accommodating. It’s perfect, I can’t recommend it highly enough ☺️

My dad and his wife have stayed here a couple of times, including once with friends who needed the accessible unit. The host is always so personable and interested in the guests, and goes the extra mile to make them feel welcome.

We only stayed one night, and it was just what we needed. The pools and shops are an easy walk away. Such a gracious host, incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay, I’d absolutely recommend it.

Parking is a little tricky, but doable, and once you leave the car you can walk to most places in the town centre. The place felt quiet, clean and safe. Dale greeted me happily and had switched on the heater in my room before check-in. He’s dynamic, friendly and always willing to help. The room was large, with a nice patio and all the basics plus a bit more.
