The lovely grounds and house at Hawthorne House were just what we expected and then some. A quick drive, or better yet an Uber, gets you to a range of restaurants. But the best part was our hosts, Peter and Paul. Their welcome drinks, really more of a party, were a fun way to meet them and the other guests. Their advice and help made the most of our short visit. Hawthorne House was superb, please don't change a thing.

Hawthorne House is a beautiful place, and the art adds a lot to its atmosphere. Peter and Paul were fantastic hosts who went out of their way to arrange tour and restaurant bookings for us. We had an amazing stay and hope to return soon.

Peter and Paul are the heart of Hawthorne House. Their ideas and spirit give the place its lovely feel, and the house and its history add to it. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, a good place to relax and recharge. Breakfast was fantastic, and the charming living room and terraces are there for guests to enjoy. Feel at home, enjoy your stay, and come back. A big thank you to Peter and Paul for such a wonderful time!

Peter and Paul made our stay at Hawthorne House so special. They’re the real gem, and the gorgeous house is a bonus. Our room was huge and nicely decorated, the bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. We absolutely loved it. Thank you, Peter and Paul!
