Te Mata Lodge

We were so grateful when they called after checkout to let us know we'd left something important behind. The restaurants and supermarket were only a couple of minutes away on foot, across the road. Our host was warm and lovely, and genuinely thrilled about my daughter's success at the National Secondary School Athletics Champs. She even eagerly helped cut her hair ribbons. We stayed three nights, and the room setup worked perfectly for us, with a huge bed in the lounge and two singles in a separate bedroom. The spa bath was a real bonus for my young athlete. Mornings were easier with enough mirrors for both of us, and we enjoyed the tea, coffee and biscuits. Everything was immaculately clean. A wonderful stay at Te Mata Lodge.

The unit was spotless, comfortable and well cared for, giving us a peaceful place to stay at a difficult time. Fay and her team showed real compassion and professionalism, and every request was met with warmth and a willingness to help. Fay went out of her way to accommodate our needs with kindness and flexibility. We're very grateful, and would highly recommend Te Mata Lodge for a comfortable, caring stay.

After a busy day, it was nice to relax in the good quality chairs. The bed was comfortable, the room spotlessly clean, and our host was lovely. We had a great stay.

The room was clean, modern enough and really good. Reception made a great first impression too, friendly and inviting while staying professional. Much better than the welcome we've had at other motels and hotels. Very happy.
