I first spotted this place while riding through Hawera as a passenger. The location looked great, and it turned out to be a quiet, private spot where I felt safe travelling alone. The room was clean, spacious, and had a heat pump, with a nice balance between a comfortable place to relax and enough room to work. For the price there was a lot included: a noodle bowl, toastie maker, electric fry pan, and all the usual things. The host was lovely, too. With a supermarket across the road and takeaway shops just around the corner, I’ll stay here again.

We’re a trucking company based in te puke inthe bay of plenty and stay here about three or four nights a week. It’s comfortable and welcoming, and Dorothy is an amazing host who always has a smile and makes everything easy. You can tell she loves her job. The restaurants are close, with a pak-n-save across the road. I’d recommend it to anyone. No 1 in my books.

We booked this lovely place for a November wedding and found check-in easy, with friendly staff explaining everything clearly. Pak n save is just across the road, which helped us avoid spending extra on takeaways and restaurants. Our room was tidy and clean from the kitchen through to the bathroom and sleeping area. The wifi worked well, and it was great having a smart tv for our usual shows and YouTube. Affordable accommodation, lovely staff, and they even greeted us with a nice treat.
