Methven Motels & Apartments

Lesley and Warren made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary, and finding two small bottles of bubbles in the fridge was such a nice touch. We stayed in their new Adults Retreat, separate accommodation just around the corner from the motel. It felt like home, with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the comfortable lounge made it easy to have a relaxing evening in. The location was great too, with town's cafes, restaurants, pubs, and shops an easy walk away. We loved our stay, would definitely come back, and hope to return next year for another long weekend.

We've stayed at Methven Motels three times, twice in the motel itself and once at the new offsite retreat, just around the corner from the main motel. The motel has a cosy classic 'Kiwi feel' and is an easy walk to pubs, supermarkets, and the Opuke hot pools. The retreat made for a special, relaxing weekend, beautifully done up, peaceful, sparkling clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there and I'm already looking forward to coming back. Methven Motels is a big part of why we love visiting Methven. Lesley and Warren are truly warm people and lovely to chat with. Can't recommend this place enough, we'll keep staying here every time we come to Methven.

Those little touches in the room made it feel homely, and the bed was really comfortable. It was quiet, lovely, and very clean. The owners are kind and clearly care about their guests. I’ll definitely come back.

We booked a two-bedroom family unit at Methven Motels and Apartments and found it spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The owners were lovely and a pleasure to deal with. We’d happily stay here again next time we’re in Methven.
