After two weeks of cold, miserable weather in our caravan, arriving at Skibo House at 6:30 PM felt like bliss. Liz and John welcomed us warmly, had the fire going, and offered tea and home baking. Our room heater was on and so was the electric blanket. After a hot shower, we sank into bed, and the sheets smelled so good. It felt like we'd died and gone to heaven. Thank you, Liz and John.🙂🙃

Lizzy was a superbly friendly and accommodating host, full of local knowledge and an amazing chef. Highly recommended if you're staying in town near the ski fields!

Absolutely disgusting. The owner had clearly left his dog's poop right around the washing machine during our stay. When we asked if the children could keep their cursing and arguing down, we could clearly hear the owner talking about us on his mobile outside our room. Very rude, and definitely not up to the standard of the previous owners. Clint is a horrible host. We won't be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Skibo house. The host was friendly and the dogs were lovely. We'll definitely be back soon. How good :-)

The host was lovely, and the mountain views were great. Breakfast was so good, with eggs, bacon, toast and bircher muesli, and plenty of everything :)
