The common room feels homely, has a nice atmosphere, and was clean. This small, cosy hostel is ideally located and looks like someone's house that's been converted. The dorms are basic budget-hostel rooms, nothing special, but they get you through the night. Facilities were okay and clean, though there are just two showers and two toilets for at least two dorms. The woman who seemed to own the place was very friendly at first. But don't linger after 10 am, even if you've checked out of your room. Checkout applies to the whole hostel, garden included, and the owner makes it clear you have to leave the premises.

The kitchen was perfect, and the basic bedrooms and bathroom were comfortable and did the job. This little hostel feels very friendly because it's someone's home that's been turned into a hostel. The lady who runs it is a delight, and I enjoyed chatting with her. It's different from the more commercial places, and that's a good thing.

The booking for four people was changed to a room with seven beds, with extra beds added. Staff tried to charge me twice, saying they hadn't received my Booking payment even though I'd already paid. They did the same to other guests. They were disrespectful and disorganized. There were no keys, the Wi-Fi was poor, and reservations weren't honored. Absolutely avoid. Total scam!

The outdoor area was lovely, and watching the sunrise with that view made up for the hot tub being drained and out of order. I stayed in a six-bed dorm that ended up having seven beds. It was still comfortable, with a clean bathroom. The first night was busy, but the rest were much quieter. Female-only dorms would give solo women a bit more privacy and improve the stay. Still, it was great value for the price and location, and I'd stay again. I'd rate it 8/10.
