The apartment was very clean and tidy, with a well equipped setup, comfortable beds, and a very good shower room. The host was friendly, and it's easy to get to by car. A good base for Kaikoura attractions, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The large living room and kitchen area were the best part of my two bedroom apartment. The twin beds were saggy and creaky, and really need replacing. In the bathroom there's only a shower curtain around the shower and nowhere to put toiletries except on the sink, as there's no countertop. The shower gel wasn't topped up and ran out on our last night. Reception couldn't help because it was after 6 pm. I wouldn't recommend it.

We all slept well, thanks to the comfortable beds and bedding, and the apartment was well equipped and comfortable. There were four adults and one child in our unit. Check-in was easy, communication was good, and the staff were helpful. It's in a great spot across from the beach. We'd definitely stay here again.

The sound of the sea and the view from my room made for such a restful, relaxing stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and very well appointed, and I slept so well. What started as a spontaneous stop in Kaikoura to revisit old memories turned into three nights. I'm deeply grateful to Poppie, Bruce & their team for making that possible, and especially to Poppie for her warm welcome, for sharing with me, and for taking care of me. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️
