We had a quiet stay and could sit on the deck looking out at the ocean and mountains. The location was excellent, and everything was very clean. The rooms are a little dated, but clearly well looked after. Staff were helpful. I'd recommend it.

We stayed at The Peninsula for two days in Kaikoura, and it had everything we needed. The room was clean and well appointed, with a huge bathroom. It was a comfortable, spacious hotel in a handy location, and check-in was straightforward. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a nice sea view, and the location worked well for getting to both the seal colony and the city. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the service was good. They even gave my toddler a bottle of fresh milk, which was extremely yummy.

We had a comfy queen bed and a nice view from the balcony. The man at reception seemed a bit off, though the woman was lovely and made up for it. There didn't seem to be much to do nearby, so we were happy to spend the afternoon and night at the hotel. I'd still recommend it.

For such an economical rate, this was a great place to stay. The room had everything we needed, and the shower pressure was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient with easy parking. I'll stay here again on my next road trip. Thanks!
