The food was the real highlight at Talisman Hotel in Katikati. Everything we tried was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with care and good ingredients. The service was excellent too, friendly and attentive, and the staff made us feel welcome straight away. The old character of the hotel gives the place warmth, and there's a relaxed classic Kiwi pub feel that's harder to find these days. It's suitable for a casual drink or a special night out. If you're passing through or live in Katikati, I'd highly recommend it. We were already talking about coming back before we'd even left.

We ordered the shared platter, and it was absolutely amazing. The food was divine and the service top notch. It was fairly busy, but the food came without a long wait, and everything we saw going past looked beautifully presented. We'll definitely stop in again when we're passing through.

We dropped in on a whim and got such a warm welcome. The studio was clean, comfortable, and nicely set up, especially for the price. Dinner was delicious too, and the meal and drink deal was generous. Good-sized portions, and the berry panacotta was fab. The service was the best we've had in a long time. We'll definitely be back.

We’ve been dining here for years and they’ve never let us down. For our 30th wedding anniversary, we booked ahead and asked for somewhere quiet, since it was the busy Christmas function season. They gave us our own screened-off area, which was perfect. Every dish looked lovely and tasted divine, and the staff made the evening feel extra special with their flawless service.

We had a lovely two-night stay, with plenty to do nearby. The restaurant food was 100%, and the good service made it a winner. Staff were friendly and professional too. I’d happily come back.
