The owners sorted out our front door lock quickly. I called them and they replaced the battery within 10 minutes. The stay was pleasant and suited what we needed.

There’s a walking track and stream just across the road, and the spot is so quiet with hardly any traffic. The room was lovely and very clean, with a well-equipped bathroom, really comfortable beds, and a huge TV. I’d definitely recommend this motel if you need a place in Kawerau.

SuziQ at reception was welcoming and helpful, and we had a lovely night at Tarawera River Lodge. We were visiting from the UK and stopped there for one night to break up the drive to Türangi. I’d recommend it for a short stay.

The manager and staff were really friendly, and the apartment was beautifully clean with daily servicing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if the need comes up.
