The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully put together. A gorgeous little motel.

The thin walls were the one downside, since we could clearly hear the guests next door. Otherwise, the room was very clean and tidy, with good air conditioning and a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was spotless, had plenty of towels, and stocked Huia Skin Care products that seemed environmentally conscious. The front of house staff were especially lovely and helpful. I'd rate the room four stars.

We could have stayed longer. The unit was modern, very clean, and had a spa, plus the WiFi was fast. The location was really convenient, and I'd happily recommend it.

Getting back from dinner in the dark could be tricky: the short road from the highway to the lodge needs repairs and some lighting, and you could miss the turn or hit a rock. The place itself is spacious, clean, and looks new, with a nice view, good service, and a nice host.

The breakfast was super yummy and the people were lovely. I absolutely loved this place, one of the best motels I've stayed in. It's central in Kerikeri, right across from the Old Packhouse Market.
