Richard, the owner, was lovely and attentive throughout our family reunion, and made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The Stone Store Lodge is peaceful and relaxing, just right for unwinding. We brought our own bacon, and the fresh eggs and Vogel's bread provided made a delightful addition to breakfast. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this place for comfort, tranquility, and warm hospitality in Kerikeri.

Beautiful native bush surrounds this amazing place to stay. It feels like a sanctuary, and we highly recommend it. If we’re in Kerikeri again, we’ll definitely return. Sean & Lawson

The mattress made for a good night’s sleep, and the heated bathroom floor was divine. We loved the spacious, peaceful rooms and the thoughtful outdoor planting. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with a lovely spot to sit outside. There’s also a peaceful shared reading nook and a well-equipped shared kitchen. The hosts were very friendly. A quiet hidden gem, and we’ll return.

The location is fantastic, the bedrooms and views are superb, and the hosts are very friendly. The website information is out of date and doesn’t really explain how the shared eating arrangements work. I understand the eco-friendly approach, though the soap was a little inadequate. More information up front on the website would help. Those negatives wouldn’t stop me visiting again.

We really enjoyed staying at the Stone Store lodge. Richard showed us how everything worked and was so helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious, neatly set up and tidy when we arrived, with a comfortable bed and a little sitting area. We loved the balcony and spotted a few birds in the trees. The lodge is close to the Stone Store and just a short drive from the main shops. There was even an espresso machine for us to use 😁
