You can see Lake Tekapo in the distance over the fields from the living and dining room, and the place is quiet. It's a reasonable walk into town, about 20-30 minutes, though there's plenty of parking if you drive. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and warm, with good cooking facilities. The washing machine is very old fashioned, though, and I wouldn't trust it with my clothes.

The log fire and views made this little house lovely for a couples stay. It was really warm, and the bed was super comfy. Would definitely recommend it.

We felt right at home in this small, modernly furnished house. The armchairs by the wood-burning stove were especially comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It has a fantastic location and a great view. The village is an easy walk away, with several beautiful hikes nearby. We also got some wonderful photos of the starry sky. We were thrilled with our stay and can highly recommend it to everyone.
