The check-in directions were clear, there was no deposit required despite what some reviews said, and the host was easy to reach. I’d suggest arriving before dark so it’s easier to find the unit. Inside, it was sparkling clean and spacious, with a lovely courtyard, and the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the 2-in-1 washer and dryer and dishwasher made chores easier. Parking right outside was convenient, and Lake Tekapo was under a five-minute drive away. My only suggestion is to separate the shower’s wet and dry areas. We stayed in early November 2024 and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

It felt like a home away from home. The three-bedroom apartment house was spacious and comfortable, clean, and decorated in bright colors. We cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, which had a large dishwasher, and the big fridge was a real plus for keeping fresh produce. There was a good washer-dryer and soap powder, and the owner thoughtfully left a small bottle of cooking oil, plus salt and pepper. The bathrooms were heated and generously stocked with shower cream, shampoo, and conditioner. We really liked the place.

For an affordable stay, the room was excellent. The air-conditioning was positioned just right, the TV was large, and the shower had plenty of space. The owner was helpful with some things we left behind and met up with us to return them.

Some net curtains would help with privacy from the neighbours. The room was a bit small, but otherwise good enough for an overnight stay.
