The place was easy to find and in a nice spot. The host had left bread, jam, and eggs, which was a thoughtful touch. I would have liked conditioner in the bathroom.

The kids had a blast feeding the farm animals right opposite the house, and they loved the loft too. The stairs up there are steep, though, so I’d say it suits older children better. It can also be hard to sleep if the adults are still watching TV in the lounge. The fire and electric blankets kept us warm, and the hosts were really friendly. We arrived to homemade bread, and the accommodation felt cosy and homely. Highly recommend.

We could have happily stayed longer. It was clean, cosy, comfortable, close to town, and had everything we needed, including a hot tub. The staff were lovely, and the price was very reasonable.

When the weather turned, we settled in by the fire with books and a glass of wine. The kids enjoyed feeding the rabbits and chopping firewood. Such a cosy, comfortable place, and a really relaxing stay.

You can feed the farm animals just metres from the lodge, and the view is great. The space is used really well, with a little loft with two beds and two full-size queen bedrooms downstairs. Awesome place to stay.
