A great stay, though I wish we’d had longer to enjoy it properly. The accommodation is high class, with stylish interiors, an exclusive view of the lake and mountains, and easy access. It’s top notch and would suit a small family.

The property was new and clean, but getting to it and manoeuvring the car were a real hassle. It sits behind another property down a very narrow driveway, with a pile of bricks at the side making it even harder, especially in a big car. You have to back out the same way you came in. It was also hard to find once it got a bit dark, and the instructions were unclear and confusing. We had to call the property manager to show us where it was, and I found him a bit rude.

We were a family of four and found the accommodation fantastic. It’s within walking distance of the shops and attractions, with modern appliances, comfortable beds, and two full bathrooms. The unit has a full kitchen and laundry, plus a heat pump, heated floors, and heated towel rails.

Everything was neat and spotless, and the apartment feels brand new.

Tekapo was a lovely place to stay, with the town centre and lakeside about a 15-minute walk away.
