The crisp cotton sheets and warm duvets were lovely, and the place is nicely set up. We’ve stayed a few times, though the beds are getting less comfortable, with some roll-together and firmness from age and heavy use. A southerly also makes the house cold, with wind whistling through the south-facing windows. The heat pump is mounted high, so the rising heat affects its thermostat and the room doesn’t warm as well as it could. A fire poker would be useful too.

A cosy place that could easily fit two families, each with 2 adults and 2 children. It’s in a quiet spot, just a couple of minutes by car from the town centre. I’d recommend staying here.

The night sky is right there out front, and the view is lovely. The place is warm and has everything you need. A lovely stay.
