We had to leave before we could enjoy the place for longer, which was a shame. The rooms were spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also liked being able to open the skylight over the bed. They let us check in late after a full day of driving, which was really handy. Such a great stay and experience.

The views from the lovely balcony were breathtaking, and the silo has so much character. Bob made us feel at home straight away and was incredibly friendly. It's a beautiful, cozy space, clearly designed with care. Such a memorable stay, and we'd absolutely come back. Thanks so much, Bob, for a special visit. Nico and Franzi

This was easily our favourite stop on our trip around NZ. The deck had a fantastic view, and everything inside felt comfortable and super clean. The booklet is full of good advice, so take time to read it. I followed its instructions for fluffing the pillows, and I've never had pillows turn out so fluffy.

After cycling the Rail Trail, I found this place while searching for somewhere in Little River before heading further into the peninsula. The design approach and how it was put into practice were genuinely inspirational. I only had an overnight stop and wish I could've stayed longer to enjoy it. I hope to return someday.

The kitchen shelf being a toolbox was such a fun surprise, and I found the taps and switches really interesting too. I couldn't get the stereo's Bluetooth working, so music was out, but I didn't mind. I watched DVDs instead and took in the view. It was a really unique, fun stay.
