The owner was welcoming and very helpful, and Jackson Street has lots of places to eat close by. I stayed two weeks ago and loved it. My room was a decent size, very clean, and came with a large-screen TV and 3D Blu-ray player. It's also close to the wharf.

We stayed in the spacious Kauri room, which was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was fresh with a great selection. Shelley & Clive are amazing hosts who clearly love having people stay at Kenlea Cottage. Jackson St is an easy walk one way for meals, with the beach the other way. A quiet, comfy and enjoyable stay in Petone, highly recommended. Thanks again, Shelley & Clive.

The hosts were ultra-friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was clean, the facilities were top notch, and Wi-Fi was convenient. Shops, restaurants, the rail station and buses are all an easy walk away. What a great surprise, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting Wellington for the first time.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and it's close to the restaurants and sea front. They really go above and beyond for their guests. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
