The breakfast buffet was perfect, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. The hotel decor was fantastic, and the rooms were exceptionally well maintained. There was a great choice of teas and coffees in the room, plus a kitchen equipped for an extended stay if needed. Access to the downtown area was easy, especially Queensgate Shopping Center. You won't find a better hotel in Wellington NZ.

My only issue was the rainfall shower head. Water got past the door and the sloped floor, flooding the bathroom. That didn't happen when I used the regular shower head, and staff handled it brilliantly by bringing towels and mopping up. The internet was fast, the bed comfortable, and the welcome amenities in the room were great. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean. I just wish they had espresso coffee at breakfast.

The lobby and its seating area were a nice touch. I had a great stay, with friendly staff and a beautiful room that was really well thought out and functional.

The staff are really lovely, and the place is super cheap and well located. Grazies restaurant looks beautiful, and the steak meal was great. The buffet breakfast was cooked well, but I expected a little more choice, such as scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages and mushrooms, the sort of things you'd normally see. Definitely recommend it.

I ordered a steak from the room service menu at the Lower Hutt location, and it arrived quickly in a paper bag. It was one of the best steaks I've eaten in NZ. Great taste and flavour, and perfectly medium rare. Highly recommend!
