This isn’t a motor lodge anymore. Under new management and business owners, it now serves as emergency housing. Around September or October 2017, visitors who didn’t live there came to see staff they knew. Later that night, they physically attacked a resident over a parking dispute. My family had stayed there, and I went the next day while residents were being questioned about what happened. Office employees tell tenants to notify them about visitors, but I’ve been there when the office was closed and unmanaged, making it hard for tenants to do that. Staff then complain and argue with tenants for not giving notice. Yet the visitors involved were staff guests who shouldn’t have been on the property in the first place. One rule for tenants, another for staff.

It’s a great spot, very clean and well located near westfields with easy access to restaurants. The staff seemed trustworthy, and I’d definitely recommend staying for a night. The downside is traffic noise from the main road.

This place seems to be Penina Trust lodge or something like that now. It’s good, cheap accommodation for families just starting out on their journey.
