Proximity Apartments Manukau Auckland Airport

We spent five nights here while meeting with a medical specialist, and it was a fantastic experience. The view from our 14th-floor apartment was great, and sitting on the balcony for breakfast in the mornings was lovely. The bed was very comfortable, the facility was clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Secure parking under the building was a great feature. Highly recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Auckland.

The location was perfect, and the lady at reception on Sunday when I checked out was so lovely, friendly and helpful. A real contrast with the sour, smile-less grump who checked me in. I stayed two nights on my own. The room was a lot smaller than I expected, but it served me well. The fridge was dirty and smelled when opened, and there was a constant strong butter chicken smell in the kitchen area. The visible drain in the bathroom floor had a stagnant odour, especially when I went in after the door had been shut. I found that putting the floor mat towel over it helped reduce the smell. All in all, it was just okay and not worth the $350 for both nights.

The night views were beautiful, and being close to Westfield Manukau was incredibly convenient. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful, with immaculately clean rooms and staff who were friendly and accommodating. The service was amazing. I’d recommend this place again and again. Five stars isn’t enough, I’d give it 100/5 :)

The rooms were good for the price, and the hotel was well placed for our dinner and work venues. Parking was easy to find and use, and good value for money. The staff we dealt with were brilliant and nothing was a problem. Would stay again.
