The attic room’s queen bed was surprisingly good. I’m fussy about beds, and motel beds often disappoint me. The place was dated but clean and tidy, and a little farther from the busy road than other places we’ve stayed along there. You could still hear the road, though. There was plenty of room for the kids to run around, and the pool was a nice bonus. The TV was gigantic, but the kitchenette was tiny, with only a microwave, which didn’t even fit in the kitchenette. The website booking process could use some work.

The host was the real highlight, and the bed was the next best thing. It was quite firm, but I slept incredibly well. The room was adequate, though dated, and there were no USB ports. The TV wouldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. I’m glad to see the motel getting a fresh start, even though there’s still quite a bit to do. It almost looks like a Scouts working bee job. Good luck with the revival, team.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, if a bit worn. I ended up here at the last minute because the internet at the hotel up the road had stopped working, and I had an urgent job interview. The woman at the front desk was wonderful. She let me test the internet first, was very caring, and gave me the best room rate she could. If I get the job, Masterson Motor Lodge will have helped make it happen!

We arrived late and left early, so didn’t get to see much of the host. The rooms were warm and welcoming, clean, and clearly well looked after.
