Tony is a very accommodating host and a great cook. You can see how much love he puts into the place, and there are gorgeous antiques everywhere. We had a really lovely stay in a beautiful spot. Definitely worth checking out!

Don’t just stay in your room here, you’d miss out. Tony’s breakfast was the best on the island, and we spent the wee hours drinking, sharing stories and laughing with him. I’d fly back just to hear more about the many lives he’s lived. The other rooms were occupied so I didn’t peek in, but the parts of his perfectly decorated B&B I saw were wonderfully eclectic and full of stories. The wallpaper alone made me feel one was about to unfold. Be sure to drive down the road to see the majestic largest fig tree, then sit on the pier and watch the locals catch dinner as the sun sets. There’s also a lovely outside nook by the river behind the B&B. Tony, thanks for sharing all this with us. You were a real highlight of my trip, and what a gem.

We really enjoyed our stay in this large, beautiful old villa, with comfortable rooms and bathrooms in a lovely little country village. The host is a wonderful cook, decorator and planner, and is active locally. There’s an enjoyable native bush walk nearby with kauri and streams, as well as a golf course, and plenty of room to relax as much as you like.

Tony has done remarkable work on the lodge and gardens. The place is stunning, extravagant, dramatic and still inviting. And Tony himself is a true gentleman, a fantastic cook and host, and now a dear friend. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks for an incredible experience.

I was so reluctant to leave after our two nights at this wonderful Bed And Breakfast. Tony and Maggie are amazing, full of interesting stories, and the hospitality and food were incredible. I love “stuff,” and there were unique things everywhere. Their garden was picture heaven too. We were there on Easter Sunday, and Tony helped us find a Church service before making a scrumptious Easter dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we look forward to seeing them again. 💛
