I spent a month staying at Wendy and Ian place while taking snowboarding lessons and working. They treated me so well that it felt like home, and everything was sparkling clean. The shared space with a fireplace and theater was a bonus. I really enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend it.

After a month of tramping, having a proper living room full of amazing couches felt like a real luxury. The place is clean and quiet, with a home-away-from-home feel. Wendy and Ian, the owners and operators, are super friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend it more.

The couple who own this great hostel are really friendly and make you feel at home. It’s well located, especially if you’re going skiing and taking the bus, and only a 2-minute walk from the ICentre. I stayed two nights and found it really nice and quiet, with a very good price. The only letdown was Wi-Fi, which costs $5 for 24 hours instead of being included. I’d still highly recommend it.

I stayed with Wendy and Ian at Bunkhouse for two weeks over winter. They’re great operators, and even went the extra mile to help when I had car trouble. The hostel is cosy and warm, and gets lovely sun when the winter weather allows. Thanks!

Methven seemed pretty empty in summer, but since I was just passing through, I was glad there were fewer people around. The bed was comfy, the facilities were good, and the hosts were great. Nothing to complain about.
