Vicki pointed us to Toad Hall, and we ended up going there every day. The date scones were amazing, and so were the brownies and wraps. We had room 7 with a king bed, which was clean and quiet, with no road noise that we could hear. Great value for the money.

Vicky was such a lovely person to deal with, always kind and easy to talk to whenever we needed help. God bless her always. The place was neat and clean, and had what we needed: a washing machine and dryer, a small BBQ, heated beds, a stove and oven, Sky TV and Netflix. Shops are close by, and the bus stop is right across the road.

The room at Abbey Court was exceptionally clean and had lots of space. There was even a separate coat room for jackets and luggage, something I hadn't seen elsewhere on our trip, and a heater in the bathroom. The thoughtful proprietress had warmed the room before we arrived, which meant a lot since we were still getting used to the winter cold. It's one of the better designed and equipped motels I've stayed in.

A great value stay, close to everything in town. I really enjoyed it: the room was clean, quiet, and spacious.

What a lovely little find, we had a great stay. The welcome was warm, and there were thoughtful touches like chocolate, soap, and petals on the bed. The chocolate was delicious. Everything else was fantastic too, from the cleanliness and comfort to the amenities and parking. Having laundry available was a bonus, and the location was great.
