Kim, the owner, is friendly and helpful, and the service was good. I did think she was a bit hard on the Fulton Hogan crew I saw working there. Apart from that, it’s a great place. I’m looking forward to stopping by in summer for a meal and a swim with the kids.

Be careful booking here. We made a group booking more than seven months ago, but when we arrived today everyone else had a room and we didn’t. They couldn’t explain what had happened, even after we showed our confirmation. We had to leave the group and find somewhere else. I’ll never come back.

A classic road trip pub, full of character. It was the middle of winter with little going on anywhere, but Kim welcomed us so warmly. I’d absolutely recommend making time to slow down and enjoy it.

I stopped in for a bit of Kai. The vacuum was running, so I waited patiently for someone to serve me. The fire and TV made the wait more comfortable. God bless this place and may it prosper.

The sausage rolls were nice. The lady seemed a bit unimpressed when I dropped in, which struck me as odd.
