415 Marine Parade

Tom and Esther are lovely, attentive hosts, and the hotel feels welcoming and homely. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve stayed, a fabulous little boutique hotel. The walk into central Napier and the restaurants takes a good 15-20 minutes, though that’s handy for building an appetite. If you get the chance to visit Napier, this is a wonderful place to stay.

The room had lots of thoughtful touches, from snacks and a shower sponge to port in the evening, and there’s a complimentary drinks bar too. Breakfast was flexible, and the hosts were extremely friendly. Great location as well. Excellent stay, highly recommended.

We loved the evening port and chocolate so much that it turned into a long after-dinner chat on the deck. Happy hour was fun too, with drinks and conversation alongside the hosts and other guests. Esther’s restaurant suggestion was just right for us, and we really appreciated all their care. The room details made it clear Esther and Tom have travelled a lot. The accommodation was lovely, and breakfast with local fruit and nuts was delicious. Staying at 415 Marine Parade was such a treat. I’d highly recommend it in Napier.

We didn’t want to leave, and this was our favourite place on our travels through Australia and New Zealand. The inn sits across the street from the ocean, with amazing views, and it’s centrally located. Tom and Esther were generous, wonderful hosts who gave us helpful recommendations. We especially enjoyed the 5pm Happy Hour with them and the other guests, and breakfast was outstanding. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in New Zealand.
