Our wedding day went to plan, and the wait and bar staff were friendly and efficient. All our guests raved about the food and service. Renee, our wedding planner from Ortons, was amazing and nothing was an issue. We hired the Villa, and wow, what a gorgeous building. I had my wedding here a couple of weeks ago and highly recommend the venue for a function. We’ll hire the Villa again in future.

The food looked great and tasted delicious, and the communication throughout was very good. The venue was warm and elegant, and wedding planner Renee was fantastic and capable of running the event. The Villa next door was the icing on the cake. Thanks, Ange, for the last-minute sewing kit. Thoroughly recommend this venue for a celebration.

The Old Church was an incredible place for our wedding, with lots of lovely spots for photos. The food was outstanding, and they handled dietary requirements really well. James was amazing throughout the planning. On the day, Susannah and the team were relaxed but attentive, and went the extra mile. Would 100% recommend.

My husband and I got married at The Old Church in February, and the team made the day so special. The grounds are stunning, with a relaxed feel. James and everyone went above and beyond, and the staff, service and food were exceptional. We can’t rate it highly enough. The Villa is on-site and has incredible decor, so we’d highly recommend staying there. If you’re looking for a wedding or function venue in Hawkes Bay, get in touch with James and the team.
