Avner's advice helped us make the most of our time in the Tasman region. He was kind and chatty, and pointed us toward the most scenic and interesting parts of the park. Our favorite was a spot off the beaten path that wasn't even on our itinerary before we arrived. The B&B itself had an amazing view, an immaculately clean room, and a delicious, high-quality breakfast. It felt like a true bed and breakfast experience. The location is a few minutes' drive outside Nelson and isn't easy to reach on foot. For some people, though, the peaceful quiet and solitude up on the hill could be a real plus. We'd definitely stay again and recommend it. If you can, book directly instead of through a third-party travel site so your money stays local.

Avner was friendly, helpful and knew plenty about the area. The modern room and bathroom were lovely, set in a beautifully designed house with amazing views. Breakfast was good, with freshly ground coffee each morning and those toasted rolls. We had two restful, engaging days. Thanks, Avner.

Avner greeted us with a platter of fresh organic fruit, cheese and crackers, and each morning brought a full breakfast: fresh organic fruit, milk from the neighbor's cow, organic natural bread and marmalades made with local berries. The room was new, modern and absolutely spotless. In Nelson's summer heat, it never seemed to get past 60 degrees, so we never needed AC. The breeze was fresh and detoxifying, the sunset from the room was gorgeous, and at night the big sky filled with stars. We also enjoyed talking with Aver and learning from his recommendations about where to eat and what to see or do in Nelson.

Incredible views and a wonderful host made this an excellent experience. I'd give it six stars if I could.
