We had four people in the Upper Deck apartment, which was well equipped and had an amazing seafront view. It was convenient for town, about a five-minute drive to the restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again on another Nelson visit.

The views were spectacular, and the wild birds outside were incredible. My family and I found this probably the most memorable place we've ever stayed. The beds were comfortable, and the full-size kitchen worked well. There was a main bedroom upstairs, a kids' room with two bunk beds, and a fold-out double sofa bed in the living room. Driving from Christchurch through Blehiem was magnificent. It was the highlight of my trip to NZ from Australia, and I can see us booking again.

We were a family of four in the Captain’s quarters. The kids loved the bunk beds, and we all enjoyed the incredible views. Everything was very clean and tidy, and the hosts were great. We'll definitely come back.

The views were amazing and the place was very clean, but the bedrooms got unbearably hot. There's no air conditioning, and the upstairs bedroom is all glass, faces the afternoon sun and has no proper curtains. The beds in the second bedroom were also pretty uncomfortable. If they can sort out the heat, the place would be perfect.

The owner was very nice, and we had a peaceful, lovely night. It got a bit warm in the evening because the place gets the midday sun, but those big windows are worth it. The most beautiful place I've ever stayed!
