Breakfast was a real treat, with homemade bread and fresh eggs from the backyard. We loved chatting with Brad and Fujiko, and Brad was so enthusiastic about New Plymouth and full of useful local knowledge. He was keen for us to see what the area had to offer. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable, and the deck had amazing views of Mt Taranaki. We had a lovely stay with them and their fur babies. Thank you!

We slept well in the clean, tidy room, and the balcony looked straight out to the mountain. The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was lovely, especially the homemade bread and the big eggs from their own chickens. Even the orange was juicy and sweet, better than one from the market. It was a really nice experience. 🥰

New Plymouth is a great base and worth spending a few days in. We were there to finish the last 100km Oxfam Trailwalker NZ, and staying in this gorgeous B&B made the visit even more special. The house sits on a hill with Mt Taranaki right in view. Brad made breakfast every day and shared plenty about the town, things we could do, and his rich life experiences. He and Fushika (?) were absolutely lovely.

The rooms were clean and cosy, and the quiet setting had lovely views of Taranaki whenever the clouds cleared. Breakfast came with fresh baked bread and eggs from the backyard. Brad and Fujiko, along with the cats, made us feel welcome. Brad was eager to point us towards places to see and good food, and we enjoyed talking by the fire. Thanks for a great stay.
