We spent our honeymoon at Stonefly Lodge, and even with my husband injured and unable to hike or fish, we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We passed the time with boules, board games and plenty of relaxing in the peaceful setting. Livi and Harry were so thoughtful and warm that we felt at home straight away. The lodge is cozy, full of character and clearly put together with care. Chef Andreas's meals were another highlight, every dish delicious and made with real passion. We left with lovely memories from such an important time in our lives. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

We spent five days at Stonefly Lodge, including fly fishing. The fishing is challenging, but very rewarding, and the brown trout are big and handsome. The river valley views are amazing, too. The rooms are spacious and the lodge and grounds are beautiful. Harry and Livi made us feel right at home, and Chef Andreas was simply world class. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Even without the hiking and fishing we'd planned, our honeymoon at Stonefly Lodge was a joy. My husband got injured during the stay, but we were so well looked after that we didn't feel we'd missed out. We spent our time chatting, playing boules and board games, and enjoying the calm together. Livi and Harry welcomed us with such genuine care that we felt like family. The lodge is cozy, stylish and full of thoughtful details. You can tell a lot of love went into it. Chef Andreas's creative, delicious meals were a highlight every day. We'll always remember this special time at Stonefly Lodge. We're deeply grateful for the experience and would happily encourage others to visit.

We booked another trip because of Harry and Livi's hospitality, the lovely lodge and surroundings, Chef Andreas's incredible food, and the chance to hike and stalk fish that really put your skills to the test. Simply amazing!

After staying in six places over two weeks of travel, this lodge was easily our favorite and the most memorable. The setting is wonderfully remote, with incredible views that make you feel far from everything. We didn't fish, but Harry and Livi arranged a wine tour in the region and an evening of stargazing. With the sky so dark, the stars were unreal. They made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and were warm and genuinely keen to make our stay special. Breakfast, made by Harry and Livi, was always excellent. Chef Andreas's dinners were on another level, with plated meals better than many restaurant meals we've had. The food is grown on site or sourced locally. You could come for the fishing, the quiet, or just the food. The lodge is cozy and comfortable, with WiFi, great cocktails and a strong range of local wines. It's completely off grid, which makes the whole setup even more impressive. We had the place to ourselves, though there are four rooms, so guests at full capacity may share common areas. There's still plenty of room to spread out, and each room has its own separate space. We can't wait to return.
