For one night, the value and location were great, and the place had ample room. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance, and Woolworths is just across the way, with a quaint little coffee shop inside too. Having a full kitchen is a nice option if you want to save on food. The listing advertised an airport shuttle, but there wasn't one, so you'll need a taxi, shuttle, or Uber to get there. I'd recommend the place for a longer stay.

At $120 a night, I won't be back. I believe this motel houses people experiencing homelessness, possibly in two units. There were arguments at all hours, with swearing and doors slamming, and I couldn't sleep. People played loud music from their car while sitting in it, with no consideration for other guests. The owners live onsite; one doesn't speak English, and the other two did nothing about the noise.

We only needed a bed for the night near Takapuna, and this budget motel turned out to be a great find. The room was clean, and its central location meant we could walk to our destination.

It was clean and tidy, and the location suited what we needed. The shower was so small it was hard to wash in, and the old bed really needs replacing. Since we only needed basic accommodation for one night, it was fine for what we paid.

From the outside, I wouldn't have chosen to stay here. The rooms, though, are nice and well equipped. There were a few minor issues, but I was satisfied enough to come back.
