We had a lovely first family trip with our two-month-old, thanks to Trish, who made us feel so welcome and looked after us beautifully. The room was cosy, comfortable, and beautiful, and the accommodation was immaculately clean. In the morning, we had croissants and other breakfast items, with stunning lavender views. We also walked down to feed the alpacas and bought a few lavender-infused things from the on-site shop. Highly recommend Lavender Hill for a relaxing, beautiful stay. The thoughtful hospitality made it extra special.

There were 14 adults and two children on site at times for our daughter’s wedding weekend, but everyone had plenty of space. Trisha and Jason were kind, friendly, and accommodating hosts. The open-plan lounge and kitchen get lovely light, which was ideal for wedding hair and makeup. The rooms, garden, and lavender fields also made a great setting for pre-wedding photos. The kitchen had lots of bench space, crockery, cutlery, and serving ware. Kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds were lovely to sink into at night.

The farm tour and gin tasting with Trish were a fun bonus, and both were delicious! She was friendly, full of great stories, and so accommodating. The accommodation was gorgeous and the setting stunning. We had a brilliant time and would come back in a heartbeat. A perfect spot for a getaway or celebration.

We were in the four large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which felt like a luxury. Trisha also asked ahead how we wanted the beds arranged and made sure we had what we needed, including a portacot for us. She left delicious food for us: strawberries, blueberries, juice, milk, cereals, and breads. She even provided gluten-free cereal and bread for me. I can’t fault the stay; it’s the best accommodation we’ve ever had. We were at Lavender Hill for a nearby wedding, and Trisha went above and beyond to make things perfect.

Trish gave my family a wonderful tour of her lavender farm and distillery. We had an unforgettable time and would love to return to Lavender Hill for the air bnb next time we’re in NZ.
