Takapuna Beach Holiday Park

We had a campervan hookup here, with fresh water available and a place to empty wastewater. The bathrooms had hot water, and there was a kitchen too. Since many people make this their last stop, guests often leave things behind, and there's a free section for them. The staff were warm and welcoming. They gave us a map with the WiFi, toilet and kitchen codes. We liked it enough to extend our one-night stay by booking directly for another night.

The view was peaceful and really nice, and the showers had hot water with strong pressure. The driveway is pretty tight and could use some improvement, but our stay at Takapuna Beach Holiday Park was good overall. A simple, pleasant place to stay.

I've stayed here twice and love the place. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and my room looked out over the sea. It was amazing and so calming to cook with the ocean breeze coming in. Thanks for the hospitality.

I used to live at the far end of Takapuna place, and when I visit family I like booking one of the self-contained units through the simple website system. The holiday park sits beside the boat ramp on a small road below the Takapuna Beach Cafe. There are a few cabins, with most of the rest of the site used for motorhomes and caravans. My unit was immaculate, with a TV, shower, crockery, microwave, kettle, and an exceptionally pristine, comfortable bed. There's also a shared kitchen with larger cookers and a shower block. Reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly while I was there. I'm very fond of this accommodation. It's a perfect spot.
