Liv and Dave were caring hosts and shared plenty of useful local tips. We only stayed one night, which was a shame, and the breakfast was extraordinary. It’s a lovely, quiet place with a sea view, lots of thoughtful details, and easy access to the sights. Thanks so much, Madeleine, Anna & Frank.

We enjoyed Oasis in Orwell so much that we added another night. It really felt like home, with wonderful rooms and thoughtful hosts who looked after their guests. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely a must in Oamaru!

Liz and Dave were such good hosts over Queens Birthday weekend, going out of their way to make us comfortable. The room was well equipped, and the little extras, like afternoon tea, were a welcome surprise. We had a very comfortable stay and would thoroughly recommend Oasis on Orwell.

The breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice. Liz and Dave were friendly, caring hosts who gave me lots of suggestions for my trip. It’s a beautiful, well-maintained Victorian-style house.

The decor has the feel of a traditional kiwi villa, and the hosts were very welcoming. One of the best B&Bs I’ve ever stayed in. I’d highly recommend it for couples.
