The rooms were comfortable, and the spa area was a nice place to unwind after a long day. The Snowman Restaurant in New Zealand was incredible, with excellent-quality food that was beautifully presented and really tasty. I'd rate it 11/10. Such a great experience, I'd happily return and recommend it.

We didn't stay at the accommodation, but we did have massages and enjoyed them. My husband had a signature massage. His one criticism was that the therapist didn't speak English, so she didn't understand when he indicated that he wanted more or less pressure.

The shower drained poorly, and the hand soap was very watered down and smelled unpleasant. The facilities weren't great. There was dust, cobwebs, and spiders in the corners, plus hair that definitely wasn't ours all over the room, including the bed and shower. It needs a more thorough clean. The room was also so small and crammed with furniture that we had nowhere to put our bags.

Cabin 2 had a shared kitchen and hangout area, which was handy, and the room looked nice at first. We were glad we only stayed one night. The sliding door and curtains were covered in mold, which was especially unwelcome while I was pregnant. It clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. Reception wasn't open when we checked out at 9am, so we emailed. The reply was disappointing, essentially saying sorry and that they'd fix it now. For what we paid, finding mold was not okay.

The room was clean, comfortable, and good value, with a good shower. The staff were friendly, and the spa tub was great and inexpensive.
