Even at Christmas, when it was really busy, the place stayed amazingly clean. The kitchen and toilets were especially well kept, and the kids loved the pool and hot showers. We’ve never seen a Top 10 campground this tidy. It felt special rather than like a typical campsite, and made our camping trip really memorable. Thanks so much.

The kids liked riding their bikes, and the beach is nice. The facilities were only okay, though. Our section had tiny bathrooms and kitchen space, with two sinks and two cooktops. The bathrooms were old, too, and showers run for five minutes but you have to press a button outside to start them. The pool was cold and too small for the campsite. It got crowded, with older kids constantly bombing in, which felt unsafe for little ones. The hot pool was a gross brown, and the game room had just one air hockey table and nothing else.

Our kids say this is their favourite campground, and we’ve been to plenty. We came back for a second year in a row and had another fantastic stay. The firewood pizza oven is a favourite, and it’s great to have a beach, a pool, lovely facilities, plus the option to book a private hot pool and sauna. The staff are what really make it special, so friendly and amazing. A big thanks to Tiwai and the groundskeeper ❤️ 💙 💜

The grounds are lovely and well looked after, with plenty of trees for shade, and everyone on the team was so nice. They all seemed happy to be at work. We booked a Surf Shack for a quick break, and the help started with my phone enquiry. The room was much better than we expected, spotless and well equipped, with nice crockery, glasses and cutlery. The bed was super comfortable, the linen was lovely, and the towels were great. The shower was huge, with the water pressure you’d expect at a resort. I honestly can’t fault Ohope Beach TOP 10. We’ll visit again. Congratulations to the whole team!

We had a great view from our spot right beside the beach, and spent five days here over Christmas. The kids loved it. The facilities were always clean and tidy, and the staff were nice. Such a good campsite, we’d definitely consider booking here for a getaway. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
